Your exact wedding day timeline will depend on your package and venue. You will receive an exact schedule and a ‘What To Expect On The Day’ email approximately one month before your wedding.

Weddings at Old Tower House

As a guide, a typical 1:00pm ceremony may look like:

• 12:50pm: All attendees arrive at Old Tower House and wait in the courtyard.
• 1:00pm: Guests are welcomed into the building and seated.
• Your celebrant will speak with you both separately and a signature is required on the No Legal Impediment to Marriage part of the document. This is a legal requirement and will not take long to complete. Rest assured, this will not impact the flow of your ceremony.
• 1:05pm: Ceremony commences.
• 1:25pm: Ceremony finishes and you are officially married!
• 1:30pm onwards: Photography at the venue and/or your selected locations, depending on your package.

Included photography time will depend on your package. Your photographer will finish shooting at the end of your allocated coverage unless an upgrade has been arranged prior to the day.

Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before your booking time. It is important to note that we cannot let you into Old Tower House earlier than your booking time. The celebrant will open the door at your scheduled start time.

If it is raining, we encourage guests to bring umbrellas. These can be placed in the entrance of the building during the ceremony.

To ensure your ceremony runs smoothly without interruptions, the doors will be locked once the ceremony begins. We kindly ask that guests arrive on time, as late arrivals will not be permitted into the building once the ceremony has commenced.

If you and your partner are arriving separately, we ask that one partner waits with the guests so they can be in the room before the other arrives. The other partner can wait in a car, in the loading bay in front of the main door, or out of sight on the street, ready to enter. Please let the celebrant know where they are waiting so they can come and greet them with the bouquet or buttonhole.

Weddings at other venues

Your timeline will be based on the requirements of your selected venue and your package inclusions. Your exact schedule will be provided closer to your wedding day.

Your venue may have specific arrival, access, setup, ceremony and departure requirements. Please refer to the venue information and terms and conditions provided for your specific booking.

The timeline provided is a recommended structure to help you make the most of the services included in your package.

There is generally some flexibility, but this will depend on your venue, package and vendor availability. Please keep in mind that venue and vendor time is limited.

For weddings at Old Tower House, the venue is booked for a set period and we host back-to-back weddings. We are unable to extend the venue booking time on the day. Any additional time must be arranged and paid for in advance.

For other venues, any changes to your timeline must also be considered in line with the venue's requirements and your vendor coverage.

We recognise that every couple is unique, and some couples may wish to include longer personal vows during their ceremony. This is absolutely fine; however, please keep in mind that additional ceremony time may reduce the time available for photography or other services included in your package.

Our ceremonies are short and sweet and usually take around 20 minutes.

Your celebrant will say the required legal vows, so if you do not feel comfortable talking in front of your guests, you will only need to repeat a few sentences after the celebrant.

If you wish to include your own personal vows, please let your celebrant know on the day. Personal vows are completely optional, so you do not have to write or say them if you do not want to.

No. Your celebrant and coordinator do not require your personal vows prior to your wedding day.

However, we recommend bringing a printed copy of your vows with you to your ceremony.

Your celebrant will confirm with you whether you plan to exchange personal vows and rings and will guide you through the ceremony, letting you know when each part will take place.

Your photographer and florist will generally be assigned approximately three months prior to your wedding day.

Once assigned, I will provide your details to your vendors and, they will contact you directly. I will also provide you with their information so you can reach out to them if you would like to.

Old Tower House Celebrants

Celebrants at Old Tower House operate on a roster. I will be able to advise you who your celebrant will be approximately 14–30 days prior to your wedding date.

Our celebrants do not contact you prior to the day unless you have arranged and paid for an upgrade.

Your coordinator will remain your main point of contact, so please let me know if you have any questions.

For anything that is not included in your package, payment must be made directly to the relevant vendor.

As upgrade pricing is set by each vendor individually, I am unable to provide exact costs for photography or florist upgrades. These prices will be provided directly by the relevant vendor.

Even with optional add-ons such as personalising your ceremony or booking additional photography time, you are still enjoying exclusive, heavily discounted rates only available when booking through PWC.

Yes, we do offer the option to choose your photographer, but this is only available when a photography upgrade is arranged.

To secure your chosen photographer for your wedding day, a deposit must be paid directly 

to them.

The minimum upgrade required depends on how far away your wedding date is:

• 6+ months away: minimum of 6 hours of coverage
• 5 months away: minimum of 4 hours of coverage
• 4 months away: minimum of 3 hours of coverage

If you are interested in this option, please let us know and we will guide you through the next steps.

Yes, we do offer the option to choose your celebrant, but this is only available if a rehearsal and personalised love story is arranged.

The price for this service is $500 inc. GST.

To secure your choice of celebrant, along with the rehearsal and personalised love story, $500 must be paid directly to the celebrant within 7 business days of being connected with them.

Due to the nature of these packages, meeting with your celebrant prior to the wedding is not included as a standard inclusion and can only be arranged with an upgrade.

Your celebrant will meet with you on the day and guide you through the ceremony.

Once your florist has been assigned approximately three months prior to your wedding day, they will contact you to discuss your colour and flower preferences.

As the florist's details are included in the link, please do not contact them until they have been assigned and you have been informed.

Collection is dependependentant on your venue and package.

For some bookings, your flowers may be delivered directly to the venue and provided to you on arrival.

For other bookings, you may collect your flowers from the florist either the day before or on the morning of your wedding. Your florist may also be able to arrange delivery for an additional fee.

Your florist will confirm the arrangements with you once they have been assigned.

Old Tower House Weddings

Your flowers will be delivered to Old Tower House. Your celebrant will bring them out to you when you arrive, unless you have arranged an early pickup with your florist.

You can download your favourite songs onto a phone and connect it to the provided speaker or venue sound system via Bluetooth, where available.

Music is generally used for your entrance, signing of the legal documents and exit. You may also have music playing softly in the background during the ceremony if permitted by the venue.

We recommend choosing one of your guests to be in charge of the music so you do not need to think about it during the ceremony.

Please ensure your songs do not contain advertisements if you are playing them through Spotify or another streaming service.

We recommend downloading three songs:

• Your entrance
• Signing of the legal documents
• Your exit

Your nominated music person will need to speak with the celebrant before the ceremony to connect the phone via Bluetooth. Your celebrant will assist with this.

You are welcome to arrange external musicians for your wedding, subject to the requirements and capacity limits of your venue.

Old Tower House Weddings

Musicians are included in your total guest count.

The largest room, The Gallery, can accommodate up to 50 guests. Please ensure your final number, including performers, does not exceed the applicable room capacity.

If you are booked into a smaller room and believe your guest total may exceed the room's capacity, please let your coordinator know so they can discuss whether a larger room is required.

We do not provide a livestreaming service.

However, you are welcome to arrange for your ceremony to be livestreamed by a guest or an external professional, subject to the requirements of your venue.

This will depend on the venue and the size of the ceremony space.

Old Tower House Weddings

Due to the size of the rooms, a maximum of four people — two on each side — may stand alongside you during the ceremony.

If you have more than four people in your bridal party, the remaining members will need to be seated in the front rows and will be included in your guest count.

Guest count requirements vary depending on your package and venue.

Old Tower House Weddings

The following people are excluded from the guest count:

• The couple
• Bridal party members, up to a maximum of 4 people
• Children aged 3 years and under
• Photographer
• Celebrant

Any additional vendors or performers may be included in the guest count, depending on the package and venue requirements.

This will depend on the venue.

Old Tower House Weddings

As multiple weddings are held at Old Tower House on the same day, we are unable to customise or direct guests to specific chairs for your ceremony.

We recommend assigning a guest to assist with seating so everyone is placed according to your preferences.

Rooms at Old Tower House are pre-styled with furniture and floral arrangements.

Unfortunately, food and beverages are not permitted inside the venue. This also includes wedding cake.

Old Tower House Weddings

As much as we love your furry friends, pets are not permitted inside the venue.

Some couples organise for a friend or dog handler to sit with their dog or pet in the courtyard so they can have photos with them after the ceremony.

Your pet must remain on a lead and be left with someone you trust.

For other venues, please check the venue's specific pet requirements.

Confetti requirements vary between venues.

Please review the venue's terms and conditions, which will be provided once your venue has been booked.

Many of our partnership venues do not permit the use of any form of confetti. Bubbles are a great alternative!

Please note that confetti cleanup is not included in our pack-down service.

Old Tower House Weddings

Confetti of any kind is not permitted in the courtyard or anywhere within the venue.

This includes biodegradable confetti and rose petals.
